5 ways to prevent being cheated into buying trailer

Things you should know about right semi trailer purchase

This is a true story happened in our Trailer Logistic client.

“Michael, help me please, I have been cheated by a company. They got my 30% deposit, but never give any trailer manufacture feedback at all.” On 14th July 2021, one East Africa potential buyer told Mr Michael.

“What happened?” Michael asked.

“Sorry Michael, because ABC (fake name) company provide us much cheaper trailer price than you before, so I decided to buy from them. After one month later now, they didn’t give me any feedback, and don’t answer my WhatsApp message, email, even phone call too. I believe we got cheat by them. I have remit more than 55,000 USD deposit to them already. Please help me got money back?”. Client said so.

Even we are not happy this client didn’t purchase trailer from us at first, but we treat every potential clients as friend too. So we checked that company in details, and found they have already cheated many clients before on Chinese search engine post!

Because it is international transfer, it is very hard to get money back, even call the police, it is still hard. Because police will ask you to call police in client local place. And client local police will ask client to get it done in China…so, that’s a big problem. Normally, if someone got cheat, 99% cannot get the money back. And at the same time, the cheater already transfer the money away as soon as they got it.

It’s always happening in international business. But please be sure: the cheater is only about 1% in all real business, most of Chinese people are good, at least they are doing real business, even some of their quality is really bad.

So, Mr Michael has to tell the truth to the client, and sorry for this happen, need accept the money is gone too. Hope it won’t happen again in all of our DTG Group Trailer clients.

For this issue, we provide 5 suggestion to all of our clients, to avoid get cheat in the future, no matter purchase transport products, or other area products. At least, if you purchase semi-trailer from DTG Group, you won’t get cheat at all!

1#, Is they professional about the products you need buy?

A good company, they must be professional about their products. Even the salesman you communicate is not understand all products details, but if you have questions, he / she will help to you figure out from their Engineer teams.

2#, Is they reply your request in time?

Normally, a good company saleman, they will answer your purchase inquiry in time, unless they didn’t see it in time. Some saleman might be very busy, too many things need to do, and too many clients need reply each day, but after they saw it, they should give you a feedback, even just a very simple reply: yes, we got it, will reply you soon.

3#, Is they using Official Chinese Company Bank Account?

If a company give you a personal bank account in Proforma Invoice, and asking you pay the money, how could they be good company?

How to know it is Company Bank Account or Personal Bank Account? Below is the easy way to know:

1, The Beneficiary Name is the same as the Full Company Name or not?

2, The bank has any money amount limit? ( In China, there is no limit in Company Bank Account)

4#, Is the person using Company Domain Email address?

In China, a good company will have a official website Domain, and all of their staffs will using Company Domain Email address.

If the people who using other email address, such as: xxx@hotmail.com, xxx@gmail.com, xxx@qq.com, xxx@126.com, xxx@163.com, etc. Then they are not good company at all, you should not trust them, otherwise, it will be risky for you buy from them. Moreover, someone might pretend to be one big company’s staff, but he /she is using personal email address to communicate with you, but he /she never belong to that big company at all, of course, will asking you remit money to another Bank account, 99.99% not that big company official bank account.

A good example to understand: all of our DTG Group Staffs are using the email which end with our official Domain name: @dreamtruegroup.com.  Such as: info@dreamtruegroup.com, hr@dreamtruegroup.com, nikky@dreamtruegroup.com, michael@dreamtruegroup.com, etc.

All the people not using email end with @dreamtruegroup.com, then he /she is not belong to DTG Group. But there is an exception: we have lots of agents in the whole world, those people (not Chinese, and not in China, but in other countries) are using their own email address, you can place order through our agents too, it’s no problem.

5#, Check the terms & conditions of the product.

If the seller does not specify, you should ask to clearly understand before making a order purchase. In a good way, ask through Web-board or Email to have written evidence. Should not deal on the phone or WhatsApp.
