Shipping by sea from China is perceived as a major hassle by many potential truck trailer buyers when importing truck trailer.
Well, it should not be a main issue when you select truck trailer from China, but still it is a big one. Since sea shipping transportation is a part of an established and functional international system, it runs maturely, so what you need is just get to familiar with it.
Packing
In DTG Group Truck Trailer, Only qualified product can be delivered. After trial running and test is performed, the truck trailer will be cleaned again.
TRUCK OR CONTAINER DELIVERY FROM MANUFACTURER
Forklift will be used to move the machine case to truck or container, and the truck trailer will be delivered to Qindao sea port in 12 hours or Other sea ports like Tianjin, Shanghai i.e. according to customer’s special requirement.
CUSTOMS DECLARATION
The goods will be delivered to warehouse of sea port and wait for customs declaration procedure to carry on, which shall be completed by forwarder. When it is ready, the goods will be uploaded to ship.
SHIPPING
1, If you have your own Shipping company, please tell us their details contact information, we will cooperate with them to shipping the products to you safely.
2, If you donot have a Shipping company in China, then we will help you handle the shipping with our cooperate Shipping Company, you don’t need to worry about products shipping at all.
Below are the shipping methods for your choose.
For container flatbed trailer, side wall trailer, stake trailer, it can using container shipping.

Container shipping.
1. 45ft container. The trailer can be put into container directly, but many countries’ port don’t have 45ft container equipment, so please confirm it with your Shipping Agent first. By the way, we can also help you confirm this, so it will saving your time.

2, 40ft HQ container.
2.1, As you know, the length of 40ft container is 11.95m, if the products length is less than 11.95m, Then we will put it into the container(same way with 45ft container).
2.2, If the products length is more than 11.95m, then we will cutting the trailer into two pieces(normally, it is cut from 2~3m of the head, and then put them into container.
About the cutting, it has two kinds method:
First:
Using triangle or straight cutting, you can combine them together by welding method after you got the trailer.
Second:
Using triangle or straight cutting, you can combine them together by Blots and Nuts after you got the trailer.
Normally, we are using triangle cutting, because you know, triangle cutting is more solid than straight after you put them together.

It is suitable for the truck trailer cannot put into container, such as tank trailer, lowbed trailer, tractor trailer, etc.

The difference between RO-RO & Bulk Shipping are:
1, RO-RO shipping cost is a higher than Bulk shipping. So need more money.
2, some country Port don’t have RO-RO shipping or Bulk shipping arrive.

LEAD TIME
how many days I need waiting until your baby arrive?
The port to port lead time depends on the traveling distance. Below follows a brief overview:
– Qindao/Tianjin –DAR-ES-SALAAM Tanzania, MOMBASA Kenya etc in East Africa, lead time usually is 30~35days.
–Qindao/Tianjin–Lagos Nigeria, DAKAR Senegal, TEMA Ghana, Algiers Algeria etc in East Africa: 35~40days
–Qindao/Tianjin –: UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, etc Middle East: 20 days around
–Qindao/Tianjin–SYDNEY, Australia: 16 days
–Qindao/Tianjin–Vietnam, Thailand etc: 8 days
–Qindao/Tianjin– Pakistan, India:17~20 days
However, keep in mind that it can take a few days, sometimes up to a week, before your cargo is loaded in the port of loading in China.
The same administrative delay applies in the port of destination, which in many cases can be even longer. In extreme cases, you may face delays as long as two to three weeks, in the port of destination.
CUSTOMS CLEARANCE
You will be notified a few days before the shipping arrival. After the container vessel arrives, the containers are first unloaded. Some may be inspected by the local customs authorities, but most are not.
Your forwarder or customs broker starts customs clearance procedure, normally it will take 1-5 days according to the local situation.
ACCESS GOODS
How would you get goods after it arrived at the destination sea port?
You could pick it up your self or arrange shipping company to load it on the truck or train to delivery goods to your door or location you required.

Hire a lift to take the truck trailer from the container. Then assembly them together, film, check if there is rust after shipping, clean and clear it. (we normally provide extra bottle of paint, for you to painting the scratch parts)
GOODS DAMAGED?
This is the issue we both would not like to encounter. Well, just in case, we always suggest you purchase insurance for your goods and we could manage it for you.
If your cargo is damaged, we advise you to follow this process:
1. Take photos and videos of the damages.
2. Make a calculation of the total value loss. Keep in mind that this should be supported by the value stated on the commercial invoice.
3. Contact your insurance company.
